Pro Special Forces employable and Sri Lanka war veteran Major General AK Dhingra has been designated as the main leader of nation's first tri-administrations Special Operations Division containing commandos from each of the three administrations.

The Armed Forces Special Operations Division has been set up by the administration to embrace joint activities by three administrations and will have components from the Army's Parachute Regiments SF, Marine Commandos (MARCOS) of the Navy and the Garud Commandos of the Indian Air Force. "Maj Gen Dhingra is a Special Forces veteran and is from the world class 1 Para Special Forces Regiment.
