Vice Chancellor visits JUET centres

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu on Sunday visited various venues in Jammu City to oversee smooth conduct of Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET-2019), conducted by the University of Jammu. JUET is a prelude to the commencement of the admission process for academic session 2019-20.
Accompanied by Prof Keshav Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs; Prof Rajni Kant, Director DDE; Prof R K Ganjoo, Director CDC; Prof Kulwant Singh, Controller of Examinations, Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar and Dr Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary, the Vice-Chancellor interacted with Observers, members of the Supervisory Staff and examinees to take stock of the various aspects of the conduct of JUET to ensure fair and transparent conduct of JUET. While interacting with stakeholders, Prof Dhar expressed that the University of Jammu is committed to provide best possible academic, infrastructural and research facilities to all its students and scholars.
JUET is a gateway for admission to the various Masters’ Degree Programmes/ Post-Graduate Diploma Programmes and Under Graduate Programmes as offered by the University of Jammu in its main campus, offsite campuses and various affiliated colleges.
The University of Jammu received an overwhelming response and more than 10,000 candidates appeared for the JUET at the various Examination Centres which were constituted at the various places across the State i.e., Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Bhadarwah, Srinagar and Leh as well as at the National Capital, New Delhi for convenience of both parents as well as the Students.
Special thrust had been laid by the University to ensure that the examinees were given adequate time to apply and download their Admit Cards for appearance in the JUET. Besides, the University had made a special provision of a Helpline for guidance of the applicants. Adequate security arrangements had also been made for the smooth conduct of the JUET.
The Answer Key of the JUET is being uploaded on the University Website on June 10, 2019. The students can accordingly register their complaints, if any, pertaining to the Question Paper/ Answer Key through the online mode on JUET portal upto June 12, 2019. The result of the JUET is likely to be declared on June 20, 2019.
