The Jammu and Kashmir State Administrative Council (SAC) on Wednesday affirmed the production of another Department of Registration to give bother free and expedient help to individuals for the enlistment of reports relating to a property, contract and so forth.

The SAC, which met under the chairmanship of Governor Satya Pal Malik, additionally endorsed the formation of 464 new posts under different classifications so as to make the branch of enlistment utilitarian.

The new Department of Registration is being made under the Registration Act, 1908 (which is a Central Act), presently appropriate to Jammu and Kashmir with impact from October 31, the day the state will be officially bifurcated into two Union Territories.

The Department of Registration will work under the general regulatory control of the Revenue Department.

So as to make the Department of Registration useful and give bother free and expedient support of the natives for enrollment of reports relating to ardent property like a deal, blessing, contract, rent, endowment and so on., SAC affirmed the formation of 464 new posts under different classes.

The posts incorporate one post of Senior Law Officer, three posts of Headquarter Assistants, one post of Program Manager, two posts of Legal Assistant, three posts of Jr. Scale Stenographer, one post of driver and eight posts of orderlies for the Apex observing (UT level) office set up, 22 posts every one of Registrars, Data Entry Operators, peruser, Junior Assistants (Nazir) and orderlies for the District (Registrar) Level office set up and 67 posts every one of Registrars, Data Entry Operators, peruser, Junior Assistants (Nazir) and orderlies for the Sub-Divisional (Sub-Registrar) Level Office set up.
