Association Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday looked into the security circumstance in Jammu and Kashmir, a quarter of a year after the Center repealed unique status of the recent state and split it into two UTs.

This is the principal meeting among Shah and top common and police authorities of the recently made Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Boss Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam and Director General of Police Dilbag Singh informed Shah about the overarching circumstance in the UT, particularly after limitations were lifted from cell phone systems, official sources said.

In any case, it was not promptly known whether the gathering talked about the probability of discharging political pioneers who are in confinement since August 5, when the Center had declared revocation of Article 370 arrangements that gave the recent state extraordinary status.
