Children's Day India: Google Doodle celebrates Chacha Nehru with 7-year-old Gurugram girl's tribute

Today is Children’s Day in India and to commemorate the occasion Google paid tribute to former Prime Minister of India Nehru with an adorable doodle.

Children’s Day is celebrated everywhere India on November 14, 2019 each year. The day signifies the importance of increasing awareness of the rights, care and education of children.

It is survived fourteen November so as to pay tribute to Nehru, who was additionally lovingly called Chacha Nehru among children.

Today’s Doodle is an adorable cartoon that was created by a seven-year-old, Divyanshi Singhal from Gurugram. Divyanshi won the 2019 Doodle for Google competition in India, when that her Doodle was picked for the occasion. The theme of the competition was "When I grow up, I hope"

The doodle features trees wearing shoes and is titled "The Walking Tree". The doodle, consistent with the seven-year-old signifies her hope of having walking trees within the future to combat the matter of deforestation.

According to Divyanshi, she came up with the delightful idea when she visited her grandma, she explained, "When I visited my grandma, i was thus sad to see the trees around her house being cut. thus i thought that if trees could walk or fly, we will not need to cut them."

She further added, "When I grow up, I hope the world’s trees can walk or fly. The land may well be cleared thus easily while not creating them die. There would be thus very little deforestation and humans will simply ask the trees and their friends to move to a different place."
