Jammu and Kashmir police team defeated Baramulla district by 3 sets in a one-sided match to win the title of 31st J&K Senior Volleyball.

SDM Gopal Singh of Akhnoor was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the competition on Thursday at the govt. Boys Higher secondary school Akhnoor. He rewarded the winning and runners up teams. in a decisive match of the competition organized by the Volleyball Association of J&K, the Jammu and Kashmir Police beat Baramulla District by a score of 25-18, 25-20 and 25-14 in a 3-0 set. National level players of volleyball Imtiaz, Rajendra Pal Singh and Zorawar Singh performed excellently on behalf of the winning team whereas Shahid Majid from Baramulla Club also scored excellently. Saklen Tariq of Poonch district, an international player from Jammu and Kashmir, also informed the players regarding the new technology throughout this period.

Volleyball Association President Siddharth Daluja, General Secretaries VK Magotra, Anita Kaul, Kiran, Raman Gupta, Kuldeep Magotra HS Gill, RC Sharma and other officers were also present at the closing of the competition.

In today's matches, Amarjeet Singh, Mulk raj Sharma and Muhammad Ilyas were the sports officials. Jammu and Kashmir police teams participated in the competition including Poonch, Rajouri, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Jammu, Ramban, Srinagar, Kulgam, Anantnag, Pulwama, Budgam, Baramulla, Shaupian, Bandipora.
