Minister of State in the PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that there should be no misunderstanding, all central laws will be applicable in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. If some people think that their shopkeeping will continue even after the removal of Article 370, then they are thinking wrong.

Addressing the function after inaugurating the two-day Regional Conference on Water Power and Disaster Management at the Convention Center, he said that Article 370 is gone forever. It will never come back. Article 370 has been removed and all central laws will come into force. All these laws are in the interest of citizens.
The last person in the last queue is the one who benefits. The central government has taken the decision thoughtfully. He said that for some days the mischievous elements have been trying to tell that Article 370 has gone but the previous system of registration of land will remain, some shopkeepers will not have to pay tax. Illegal mining will continue.

Dr. Singh made it very clear that all central laws will be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir. People should cooperate with the government in enforcing these laws. The Central Anti-Corruption Act has come into force. The Central Administrative Tribunal will also apply. Work has also started for the Information Commission. Article 370 has expired. Corruption will not be allowed.
