The body of a six-year-old young lady, who was supposedly assaulted and choked to death with her school belt, was found in Tonk locale of Rajasthan on Sunday, a day after she disappeared, the police said. A First Information Report (FIR) has been enlisted against obscure people under significant areas of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and segments 302 (murder) and 376 (assault) of the Indian Penal Code.

On Wednesday, a 27-year-old veterinarian was supposedly assaulted and killed by four men, before her burned body was discovered a day later in Telangana's Shadnagar, close to Hyderabad. That week, a 25-year-old law understudy was purportedly assaulted by a gathering of outfitted men in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
