By detaining party leaders and workers, the administration didn't permit the Jammu bandh to succeed. The impact of the strike isn't visible anywhere in the town. Meanwhile, when the party's state head Balwant Singh Mankotia arrived outside the Press Club on Saturday morning with some activists and was preparing for the demonstration, the police took him into custody. The activists couldn't protest due to police action. Like the Panthers Party leaders, leaders of other organizations supporting Jammu bandh have also been placed under house arrest. Life in Jammu is completely normal. Trains are running, schools and colleges are open. There's a large crowd of individuals in the markets of the city.

Party chairman Harsh Dev Singh said that he wanted to peacefully shut Jammu and in this connection, he was mobilizing the support of the individuals on Friday. But he was arrested by Pakka Danga. He said that in a democracy everybody has the right to say his words but the voice of the opposition is being suppressed. Police are deployed outside his house and he's not being allowed out. Describing the action as non-democratic, he said that the party won't back off from raising issues of public interest.

Mobile net service in Jammu and Kashmir has been closed for about 3 months. Individuals are upset. Students are unable to fill the form. The burden of the individuals of Jammu has been laid by constructing a toll plaza at Saror. Inflation has increased a lot. The purchase of essential commodities is no longer in the hands of the common man. Not allowing the opposition to boosting such problems is non-democratic.
