Restrictions on the internet have led to the business of Banihal city in the valley. Especially since the resumption of the Srinagar-Banihal train service, a large number of individuals of the valley are reaching Banihal in connection with everyday work. Most of them are returning to work related to the internet whereas some are returning after a night stay on another day. In such a situation, Banihal's business has gained momentum.

The Chahal initiative has increased these days at the Banihal railway station connecting Jammu and Kashmir division with train service. Train service was resumed in Srinagar and Banihal from 17 November. internet services are discontinuous in the entire valley except for some government offices, hospitals.

Postpaid mobile service started running from Oct 14 however prepaid mobile service continues to be suspended. In such a situation, folks of the valley will reach Banihal in 2 hours in Banihal, 110 km from the valley.

This time the business is getting better - Hotel Owner
Bilal Ahmed, the owner of the hotel, the restaurants, told that earlier internet speed used to come down however but the speed has increased. At a similar time, the owner of the hotel Manzoor Ahmed said that sometimes his business was very less at this time, but this time the business is getting good. this can be as a result of guests are staying for 2 to 3 days.

There are crowds of telecom service providers from the valley. He's coming to get his SIM card prepaid post paid. Shaukat Ali told that he came from Srinagar and uploaded his tender and got his mobile from prepaid to postpaid. The government has installed internet points at various places however that is not enough.
