Opposition parties have welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to take appropriate action in Jammu and Kashmir by reviewing issues including restoration of internet, removal of restrictions within a week. He has demanded to restore internet service in the state with an early removal of restrictions.

Devendra Singh Rana, Provincial President of the National Conference said that the business, commerce, industry and academic sectors of Jammu and Kashmir have been affected due to the impact of Internet and other connectivity services. The youth need internet to continue academic activities. The tourism sector has also been badly affected.

Said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been nationalists, so internet service should be restored soon for their interests. All major politicians should be released to restore political activities in the state.

Dozens of leaders, including three former chief ministers, have been placed under house arrest and detained.

Former Congress Minister Raman Bhalla and Chief Spokesperson Ravindra Sharma said that all kinds of restrictions should be removed keeping the interests of common people in mind. The Supreme Court has given a verdict on the government's policy of repression.

He said that all political parties should have political independence. The court has also rebuked Section 144 of the government. He questioned the government's policies and asked why the leaders of major political parties were not being allowed to carry out political activities. The BJP is acting as a policy of partition and as a communal party.
