Reliance Jio's 2G mobile internet service started in Jammu at around 9 pm last night, following the instructions of the state administration, but customers waiting for the services of other mobile companies remained to wait. Although Jio's 2G network shut down after ten minutes of running at night, the service resumed at eleven o'clock.

Jammu Kashmir administration spokesman Rohit Kansal claimed a day earlier that the social network will be remain banned on mobile networks & will be restored only for banking and other essential services, but all social sites including WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, etc were running on Jio. However, the speed was definitely a little less than 4 g to 2 g. The other networks are still waiting for the mobile network restoration.
