The court of Maa Vaishno Devi, the Bhairav Valley, and the Trikuta Mountains are wrapped in a white sheet of snow. The snowfall and rain that started late at night still continue. At the same time, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has currently stopped the battery car service, helicopter service and passenger cable car running between Bhavan to Bhairav valley due to the security of devotees due to bad weather. Not only this, there is a ban on devotees going towards Bhairav valley on foot.

Even amid snowfall and rain, there is no decrease in the enthusiasm of devotees. Devotees are marching towards the Durbar for darshan of the mother, shouting Jai Mata Di. To ensure the safety of devotees, the board has deployed disaster management and board staff on the Yatra route. Recently, three devotees were injured due to landslides on the battery car route during the rains. This route has been opened for devotees on Monday only after six days. However, the board employees are not allowing the devotees to stop and visit the building anywhere on this route. They are being asked to stand under the shed to rest.

The board said that the rain is still on the lower route. It is snowing above semi-virgin. Every possible arrangement has been made for the pilgrims walking on the Yatra route. The fire has been arranged at the resting place, while the snow is not slippery on the route due to snow, employees have also been deployed to remove snow. It is not safe for pilgrims to walk there amidst snow due to the narrow path of Bhairav valley. For this reason, the sending of devotees on that route has been banned. The passenger cable car has also been postponed. Apart from this, there is snow on the combined helipad. In such a situation, helicopter landing is not possible here. The helicopter service has also been postponed until the weather improves.

Despite all these weather woes, devotees of mother wearing rainy, umbrellas are seen coming and going on the journey path. Enjoying the snowfall in the wintry weather, these devotees are traveling with their mother cheering. However, they are also taking full advantage of the arrangements made by the Shrine Board on the Yatra route to avoid the cold. Meanwhile, due to the cancellation of a booking of helicopter service and battery car, many devotees have also made a halt in Katra town today. If the weather remains the same tomorrow, then these devotees will travel on foot. However, there were many devotees who started the journey enjoying the weather after the booking was canceled.

According to the information received from the board, three feet of snow sheet has been laid on the Trikut mountain so far after the late-night snowfall. Apart from this, two to two and a half feet in the Bhairon Valley, two feet in the Vaishno Devi Bhawan, one and a half feet of snow has fallen in the common roof. All travel routes are currently open for devotees to visit.
