Law and Justice, Communications and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that a responsible administrative system and peace is necessary for the development of any area society. Jammu Kashmir was deprived of both, but now it is not so. Now there is a government that takes care of the people here. On Wednesday, Ravi Shankar was talking to various public representatives in Baramulla. He addressed public meetings inaugurating several development schemes. The Law and Justice Minister present in Kashmir also took a walk in Baramulla market called the stronghold of terrorists. He also interacted with many people and understood their issues. The minister inaugurated the Indoor Stadium Baramula. The stadium, built from seven crores, has facilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton, yoga, and other sports. The minister also laid the foundation stone for the mini pavilion block to be built at Jhelum Stadium Baramulla worth Rs 3.5 million. The minister said that the children of Kashmir are thirsty for digital age, sports and development All steps are being taken to quench their thirst. The construction of the Indoor Stadium is a major step towards promoting sports culture in Baramulla.

The obstacles which were in the development of Jammu and Kashmir have been removed. After the sports stadium, the minister also participated in a program organized by the Social Welfare Department under Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. Recently presented laptops to six female students who have excelled in class 10th and 12th. In addition to distributing checks worth 40–40 thousand to some beneficiaries under the Marriage Assistance Scheme, he recently distributed baby kits to women who gave birth to children.

The minister held a meeting with senior officials of the district administration and reviewed the security and developmental scenario of Baramulla. District web portal also released
The Union Minister also released the logo of Baramulla and the district web portal. In addition to e-inaugurating the BharatNet facility for 38 panchayat circles of Baramulla, he also held a video conference meeting with the chairmen and panch-sarpanches of some block development councils.
