Due to the cut-throat competition in today's world; it is difficult for students to choose the right career. The growing complexity of making a career choice and increasing competition has made access to proper career counseling and college admissions guidance to school students a need of the hour. Partap World School, Pathankot, Punjab organized the IC3 Regional Forum in its campus on 18th Jan'2020 where around 150 participants including counselors, principals, teachers from three northern states Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir & Haryana participated.

During this forum, the schools and global universities come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities with respect to career and college counseling in detail they also discuss the admission procedure practiced in the top reputed global universities. The IC3 Regional Forums is a first of its kind initiative that brings together career counselors, teachers, school principals, and university admission leaders together. Emphasis was also given to develop career counseling laboratories in every school, Also to have good career counselors in school with their continuous professional development from time to time. Speakers spoke about the holistic development of students and discussed ways to incorporate global insights into the education system in India. The speakers emphasized the importance of creating a conducive environment for students to explore their interests by relying on their natural strengths and aptitudes. The IC3 2020 Regional Forums is a movement toward transforming young lives and shaping careers.

Jim Mc Laughlin, co-chair IC3 2020 Regional Forums said; helping young people to understand themselves and what they need to be successful is our focus. The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony by the school Chairman Bharat Bhushan Mahajan Ji, Director Vishal Mahajan, and Director Sunny Mahajan, Principal Ms. Subhra along with Jim Mc Laughlin, co-chair IC3. Director Sunny Mahajan welcomed all participants and Principal Ms. Subhra Rani thanked all for informative sessions and the university fair which was witnessed by around 500 people (parents, participants & students) and everyone was enriched through this program
