A cleanliness drive was started on behalf of Ghagwal Panchayat of the district. SDM Rakesh Sharma flagged off the campaign. Tehsildar Harjit Singh, Police Station Incharge Sudhir Sadotra were also present on the occasion.

The Sarpanch-Panch and police personnel of Panchayat were mainly present in the cleanliness drive. Panch Raman Sharma said that the Panchayat members are doing their best to make the town Ghagwal clean and clean so that Ghagwal can be made clean and green.

He said that the cleanliness drive started from the SDM office went till the gate of Narsingh Temple. Every visitor was made aware of not using polythene. Dirt was asked to put in the dustbin. Local head Sudesh Kumari also made people aware.
