The Central University of Jammu organized a Kavi Sammelan here on Thursday. On the occasion, the CUJ also announced the publication of a new Patrika for encouraging students to write. The Patrika would contain articles in regional languages like Dogri and Kashmiri and first edition of the magazine will be published in February ending.

During the Sammelan, Dr. Dharmendra, Girja Sharma, Piyush Kumar, a student of Hindi Department; Krishan Kumar Sharma, Kamaljeet Choudhary, Randhir Singh Raipuriya, Anita Mehta, Anila Singh and Pardeep, students of Mass Communication Department recited their couplets.
A number of students of the Hindi Department, who qualified NET/JRF, were also felicitated on the occasion.
