MG Motor India today announced that it has sold 3130 units in January 2020. Hector is consistently doing quite well in the Indian market and the company sold 3021 vehicles in December 2019. January sales figures have come in very good and these are the third best sales numbers of the company since last year.

Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India, said on the sales figures, "Our first offering, Hector, is getting a very good response to the company's sales and is very encouraging. We are ready for the BS6 transition as well We hope that we are offering the latest technology to our customers.

However, the company expects significant disruptions in the supply chain from European and Chinese / Asian suppliers likely to affect sales in February due to the corona virus. The company is working towards ensuring that the impact on demand and supply is minimized.

MG Motor India is set to debut new products in 2020, the first of which is the Gloster which will be a 7-seater SUV and will be introduced at the 2020 Auto Expo. MG Motor India currently has around 200 centers across India and aims to strengthen its network to 250 centers by the end of March 2020.
