The trend of fall in petrol and diesel prices continued for the fifth consecutive day on Monday. Petrol has become cheaper by 56 paise while diesel by 49 paisa per liter in these five days. Oil marketing companies on Monday cut petrol prices by seven paise in Delhi, while in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai by six paise per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel has been reduced by five paise in Delhi, eight paise in Kolkata and Chennai and nine paise per liter in Mumbai.

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has come down to Rs 73.04, Rs 75.71, Rs 78.69 and Rs 75.89 per liter respectively.

At the same time, the price of diesel in the four metros has also come down to Rs 66.09, Rs 68.46, Rs 69.27 and Rs 69.81 per liter respectively.

Meanwhile, the international crude oil prices continue to fall and the benchmark crude oil Brent crude price has come down to below $ 56 per barrel. After which there is a possibility of further relief in the price of petrol and diesel in the coming days.
