When the TVS Apache RR 310 came to the Indian market in the year 2017, people who were interesting in racing gave a lot of reactions to this entry level sports bike. This is the flagship motorcycle of TVS and now the company has updated it for the year 2020 with new engineering and better performance. The TVS Apache RR 310 has always been known for its sharp styling, better build quality and features packed sports bike with a race-tuned slipper clutch with all the loaded features. The company has designed this bike in such a way that you can use it daily in addition to the racing track. We also spent some time on the Madras Motor Race Track with the newly updated TVS Apache RR 310 and what changes we have received about this bike, we are going to tell you in this review.

What have changed in the looks?

If we talk about the looks of the new Apache RR 310, then the company has not changed much in terms of design. The biggest change in appearance will be the Titanium Black color scheme, which I personally liked and the company has also given the trademark of Red Scheme color in it, which looks quite good with the new graphics. In addition, the company has also given a new detachable windscreen in it.

The biggest change in appearance will be the Titanium Black color scheme, which I personally liked and the company has also given the trademark of Red Scheme color in it, which looks quite good with the new graphics. In addition, the company has also given a new detachable windscreen in it.

You will not see much change in the looks and design, but the company has given the latest Michelin tires for the latest technology, better grip and handling, which makes this bike more safe and powerful than the old model. Overall, this bike will look like the old model to you, but the company has made changes to it by increasing its list of features.

Is there anything new?

The company has now added new electronics systems to the Apache RR 310, in which we first talk about the 5-inch full-color TFT instrument panel designed by TVS. With this console, you can get all the information of the bike and also connect your Android and iOS smartphone to the Bluetooth system through the SmartXonnect system, in which you will get all the information after the ride and gear shifting points along with race telemetry , All information such as best lap time, service reminder, top speed and fuel consumption are available. Apart from this, if you see left switchgear then these are also found new and through these control cubes you can easily set the riding modes while looking in a multi-information race computer.

The company has now also included a throttle-by-wire system in it. The new RR 310 now has two engine maps with four riding modes - Track, Sport, Urban and Rain. You get its full power on track and sport mode. At the same time, power and torque are limited in urban and rain. Also, different level ABS systems have been provided in the riding modes, which gives you a better braking on each of the modes. We ran it mostly on track mode where the braking response during cornering is a bit slow, which is quite beneficial for track riding. Along with this, the company has given new dual-compound tires in it which are called Michelin Road 5 tires and they really prove to be much better for this bike. Apart from all these technologies and electronics, the company has given its frame, suspension and bicycle parts in the same way.

How is the performance while running?

Talking about power specifications, the company has given the same 313 cc single cylinder engine in it. Its power output is the same, the company has incorporated its power output into two different engine maps by conforming it to BS6 standards. It gives you power of 34 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm torque at 7,700 rpm on Track and Sport modes. At the same time, on Urban and Rain mode it generates power of 25.8 bhp at 7,600 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm. As soon as you run the new Apache RR 310 on the track, you will immediately feel that it is much more refined and smooth than the current BS4 model.
