A meeting of the District Monitoring Committee was held in the conference hall at Udhampur, DC office complex on Monday under the chairmanship of District Commissioner Udhampur Dr. Piyush Sigla. In the meeting, various preparations were discussed in connection with the awareness of the symptoms of the coronavirus and its prevention in the general public in the district.

On this occasion, DC asked the Health Department to set up a separate ward in the district hospital for suspected infected with the coronavirus. It was informed in the meeting that no case of Corona virus-infected/suspected has been found in the district. The doctors were instructed to remain stationed at their respective places and to make the public aware of the measures to be taken to prevent and control the coronavirus and its spread.

At the same time, CMO Udhampur Dr. KC Dogra told that the monitoring team has been prepared and DHO Dr. Yasin has been named as the Nodal Officer. The DC asked the ACD, CMO and other officials to prepare a list of students from Udhampur to study outside the country and also advised those who had recently arrived from China, their medical checkup as a precaution Get it done.
