Due to this fall in prices, the gold futures of April 3, 2020 were trending at Rs 40,324 per ten grams.

At the same time, when we talk about the futures price of gold on June 5, 2020, it is also seen falling on Friday i.e. February 7. The gold was seen dropping by 0.17 per cent or Rs 68 at 12.15 pm on Friday, making its price trend at Rs 40,470 per 10 grams.

Like gold, silver futures are also seen falling on Friday. The futures price of silver on March 5, 2020 on the MCX exchange was seen dropping by 0.31 per cent or Rs 145 at 12.20 pm on Friday afternoon. Due to this decline, silver futures of March 5, 2020 were trending at Rs 46,075 per kg.

Globally, gold was trading at $ 1,563.72 an ounce, down 0.19 percent or $ 2.94 on Friday, according to Bloomberg. At the same time, silver was down by 0.39 percent or $ 0.07 to trade at $ 17.76 an ounce.
