Pakistani Army is continuously doing the ceasefire across the borders. It has increased in recent times. Launching pads in PoK near LOC adjoining North Kashmir remained fully active during winters.

The presence of a large number of terrorists is still there for the purpose of infiltration. According to Director General of Police Dilbag Singh, a significant number of terrorists are ready to come across this on the launching pads in Pakistan. We will not be able to tell the exact number but there is a lot of presence. This time a different thing has been seen. That is, the LOCs lying along the Baramulla-Kupwara district of North Kashmir, especially the launching pads in front of the Karnah-Keran belt, were not empty this time.

The terrorists were not removed from there and the launching pads remained active throughout the winter. After a snowfall, LOC used to reduce movement from Pakistan. The motive behind keeping the launching pads active is to push as many terrorists across as possible.

Regarding the ceasefire violation on LOC and IB, it has been going on for some time. The incidence of the ceasefire has increased compared to earlier. According to the DGP, Pakistan is trying its best to keep the atmosphere warm by doing such acts on the LoC and IB and also continue to try to push the terrorists across. Some efforts have also been successful.
