The terrorists and the separatists had left no stone unturned to ruin Kashmir for three decades, but the daughters of Kashmir were fearlessly engaged in improving it. Bilkis is one of the 20 judges selected by the Asian Canoeing Federation for the Olympic qualifying round and is the first Indian woman judge. After winning the Police Water Sports Competition, my luck changed. After this, my mother stood behind me as a strong wall.

It was the 1997–98 era, Bilkis said. I took part in competitions within Jammu and Kashmir and at home and abroad. In the year 2006, I led India in the World Cup competition. Also participated in Asian Championship. Participated in the 2009 MOL ICF Sprint Training World Cup in Hungary. I decided right there that I should do something for the game that has reached its end. I decided to train the youth in this sport. The same year he received a diploma in international diploma in Budapest Hungary for two years.

On 21 March, Bilkis, a judge selected for the Olympic qualifying round competition in Thailand, said that it is a matter of great pride for me. It will be my responsibility to evaluate the best players in the Asian countries. There are many rivers, lakes and other water bodies in our country. There is also the sea. Despite this, we do not pay much attention to water sports. There are 16 gold medals in the Olympic Games in canoeing and karyankag.

Referring to the current state of Dal Lake and the facilities available in it, Bilkis said that if this lake were not there, I would not have been either. From here we have prepared 600 players of canoeing and karyankag.
