BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed Chering Dorjay, former Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, as party president for the Union Territory of Ladakh.

The appointment has been made with immediate effect, according to an order issued by BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, Incharge Headquarters.
Earlier, Ravinder Raina, BJP president for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was also holding additional charge of Ladakh.
