Amid reports that three members of a Hoshiarpur-based family admitted to Government Medical College here have tested positive for coronavirus, the authorities said their test reports were yet to be received.

Dr. Rakesh Sharma of the GMC said, “We expect that the reports to be received by this evening. So far we cannot say if the patients are positive cases.”

The family had recently returned from abroad. The official said the couple and their 22-year-old daughter had been admitted there for the past two days.

After the outbreak of the disease, the district so far has reported 18 suspected cases of which 15 have been found negative. The reports of the remaining three will arrive by Saturday evening.
