Coronavirus outbreak: Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal to not take part in public programme till March 31

In view of coronavirus outbreak and the advisory issued by the state health department, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has decided not to take part in any public programme till March 31.

Sarbananda Sonowal also appealed to the people of Assam to remain alert, keep themselves aware of the disease and follow preventive measures. He also urged upon people to strictly follow the advisory issued by the state health department.

Sarbananda Sonowal further called upon conscientious citizen to spread awareness in society of the coronavirus. He also wished the people of the state to remain strong and healthy.

A total of 83 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and two have died due to coronavirus so far in India.
