The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet in the NIA special court against seven terrorists, including banned Hizbul Mujahideen militant leader Jahangir Saroori, in the case of the murder of Jammu and Kashmir BJP state secretary Anil Parihar and his brother.

Three terrorists have been killed among them. The Parihar brothers were murdered by the terrorists in the year 2018. The Hizbul Mujahideen took responsibility for this.

According to the NIA spokesperson, during the investigation, the agency nabbed Hizbul's Nisar Sheikh, Nishad Ahmed Butt and Azad Hussain, all resident Kishtwar. The three men worked for terrorists Osama-bin-Javid, Aaron Abbas Wani and Zahid Hussain, who killed the Parihar brothers.

Investigation revealed that these Hizbul militants along with the OGW did all this to revive terrorism in Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban region. Besides killing the Parihar brothers, three other terrorist incidents were also carried out.

The entire conspiracy was hatched by the old terrorist of Kishtwar, Jahangir Saruri, who has not yet been killed by the investigating agencies. The three terrorists who killed the Parihar brothers and carried out the terrorist incidents, Osama-bin-Javid, Aaron Abbas Wani and Zahid Hussain, have been killed in separate encounters.

The three terrorists, the three OGWs and Jahangir Saruri have been named in the case by the NIA. The investigation against Jahangir is still going on.
