Minor girl raped, accused arrested

Rajouri police has registered a FIR for rape of a minor girl in Samote village of Budhal area where accused has also been detained within 12 hours of the registration of case.
Police in its official statement said that in the late evening hours on Monday, a complaint regarding sexual assault and rape of a minor girl was received in Budhal police station.
"Taking note, a case under relevant sections of law was registered in police station Budhal and investigation was set into motion." Chandan kohli SSP Rajouri said.
A team from police station Budhal headed by SHO Som Raj under the supervision of Deputy SP DAR Zaheer Abbas and Additional SP Rajouri Liyaqit Ali succeeded in arrest of the accused on Tuesday wee morning hours within 12 hours of the registration of case, he further said.
The accused (name withheld) has been detained by police under relevant sections of law keeping in view Juvenile Justice Act, further investigation in the case is going on.
