DSEJ hosting webinar to counsel students

Directorate of School Education Jammu , in order to help and counsel the students whose result for class 10th and 12th were recently announced, is organising a webinar on the topic " LIFE BEYOND MARKS" on July 3 at 11:30 AM with special focus on dealing with an academic setback in life due to unfavorable examination result.
Rajesh Vashisth, NCERT counsellor will be the guest speaker for the webinar.
Director School Education, Anuradha Gupta has asked all the HOIs and other officials of the Directorate to make it convenient for all the students whose 10th and 12 class results were announced recently and the teacher councilors, to join the webinar.
Appealing for participation in the webinar, Anuradha Gupta announced that, "Every child is precious. If you know any child who is not happy with Board results and needs help, ask (him) to join us ( webinar)".
Giving details of the event, Romesh Sharma, Head Counselling cell, DSEJ divulged that the event would witness lectures by professional psychologists and counselors, including Shria Abrol, Sheebali Lalotra and Ravneet Kour on the topics 'Coping During Stressful Times'( academic setbacks), 'Real Life Stories' (Achievers), 'Off Beat Careers' (low marks), 'Managing Procrastination', 'Dealing with Distractions' and 'Stress Management'. The key speaker Rajesh Vashisth will address the topics 'Life beyond marks' and 'Parental Perspective On Marks And Success'.
