NSF demands fee relaxation, postponing admission fee date for CLUJ

A delegation of National Secular Forum (NSF) today met Dr.Mushtaq Ahmed Lone, Controller of Examination and Dean Education of Cluster University Jammu and took up several of their issues.
The delegation was led by Papinder Singh Sr. Vice-President NSF and Taniya Jasrotia, CLU President. They apprised the Controller of Examination and Dean Education about the problems being faced by the student community in varsity and put forth their views.
They said that fee for 3rd and 4th semester for M Ed has been fixed and charged from students at the rate of Rs. 22720 whereas Rs. 10920 is being charged from students in University of Jammu for doing 3rd and 4th semesters in M. Ed.
They add that Cluster University Jammu is subjecting the students of M. Ed to great injustice and unnecessary financial burden. That it is significant to mention that for the pasts 6 month the students were unable to utilize those facilities for which they had paid in their earlier annual charges or at the time of their admission but now the circumstance are not favorable for our family members when they have no income sources due to this pandemic or covid-19 outbreak which has created a great chaos and stress in our families.
That all the students undergoing various UG & PG courses in Cluster University Jammu are looking forward for appropriate decisions in favour of betterment for student community by reducing fee structure during the current Pandemic period.
They also demands extension the date of admission fee for all courses until nominal fee should be decided by the competent authorities.
The Controller of Examination and Dean Education of Cluster University Jammu gave a patient hearing to the students and assured to look into the issues at the earliest.
Those present in the delegation included Pankaj Kumar, Liaquat Hussain, Sunny, Rishi,Asad Ali Qamar and Rajesh.
