18 year old Audi driver runs over, kills sleeping guard in Chennai

A 68-year-old security guard was killed after a teen, driving an Audi car, allegedly ran over the sleeping man in Chennai. The incident reportedly took place on the night of September 2 when the 18-year-old was trying to parking her car in an apartment complex in Foreshore Estate where Sivaprakasham worked as a security guard. Sivaprakasham, a former government servant, had started working as a security guard only a week back. As per reports, unaware of the incident, 18-year-old Aparna parked her car and went inside her house. Police arrived at the apartment complex following an alert by residents. Police officials then informed Aparna about Sivaprakasham lying dead in a pool of blood and gave CCTV footage as evidence. The police have filed an FIR under Section 304(A) (death due to negligence) against the 18-year-old, who was later let out on bail. The body of the deceased has, meanwhile, been sent for post-mortem to ascertain if the deceased had consumed alcohol.
