Mumbai, 10-Sep-2020

Rapper Raftaar, who is one of the leaders on MTV Roadies Revolution, took to his Instagram stories and informed his fans that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Raftaar revealed this on Wednesday (September 9) and said that he is currently home quarantined. Raftaar was supposed to begin shooting for MTV Roadies Revolution, so he took the Covid-19 test. After testing negative for the novel coronavirus twice, the 31-year-old tested positive in the third one. "I wanted to give you an update. I had to go for Roadies and before that I had to test for Covid-19. Two of my tests were negative, but the result which came today was positive. BMC has asked me to self-isolate. So I am home quarantining." said Raftaar in the video shared on his Instagram Story. Raftaar also said that he has no symptoms of Covid-19 so he will be getting another test done. He is awaiting the next test as he believes that there might have been an error in the diagnosis. "I am waiting for the next test to happen because I feel it's a technical error because I'm fit and fine. I don't feel that I have any illness. I can't feel any symptoms. But it's my duty to isolate myself. I'm fit and I will update you about my health. Don't worry," added Raftaar. Raftaar is one of the mentors on Roadies Revolution along with Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula and Nikhil Chinapa. He is known for songs like Dhaakad, Tamanche Pe Disco and Bandook Meri Laila.
