IEC University Mass Media School to focus on new media training and opportunities

Media world is undergoing massive transformation. If at one level we see the decline of traditional print media, then on the other hand we are witnessing massive growth of new media including digital and television, throwing up exciting new career opportunities for millennials.
Appreciating the trend and future career opportunities which new media will offer to students, IEC University Mass Media School is now focusing on providing training and exposure to its students about the new media and the television industry.
Last year, IECU had signed MoU with Noida headquartered Marwah Studio to ensure that its students get the best of new media and television training. This is in addition to regular mass communication course fulfilment that is provided at its campus in Solan, HP.

The MoU with famed Marwah Studio is a step in this direction,� said Dr Anju Saxena, Vice Chancellor, IEC University.

From art director, copywriter, script-writer, graphic designer, cinematographer, animator, film and video editor, to promotions manager and market research analyst, the window of opportunities are wide open now. It requires good class room teaching and practical exposure to make a successful career in new media. And at IECU, we are doing this.�
