A 65-year-old man was allegedly assaulted and forced to drink urine in Roda, Lalitpur of Uttar Pradesh. A few days ago, the accused had attacked the elderly man's son with an axe, following which, the father-son duo had lodged a complaint against him. The accused, identified as Sonu Yadav, was irked that the victim's actions and had been forcing them to withdraw the complaint and settle for a compromise. On Tuesday, Yadav allegedly forced the Dalit man to drink urine. Identified as Amar, the victim alleged that the accused assaulted him with a stick when he resisted. Amar told news agency, "When I refused, he attacked me with a stick. He had attacked my son with an axe few days ago and we had complained against him to police. So he was forcing us to compromise. " Lalitpur SP Mirza Manzar Beg said that the accused are among the influential people in Roda village. He said that the police registered an FIR promptly and arrested the prime accused. The SP added, "We won�t tolerate any sort of bullying. "
