After reports claiming the production crew hired by Karan Johar’s team has allegedly littered a Goan beach village last week during their shoot with Deepika Padukone, now the Goa Waste Management Minister, Michael Lobo will be issuing a fine notice to the filmmaker’s production house for the same.
“Dharma Productions will get a notice for a fine from the Goa Waste Management office. Goa is a beautiful state & people come here for shooting films. Everyone is welcome to come & shoot but take your trash away & don't leave it here: Michael Lobo, Goa Waste Management Minister,” quoted.
Earlier, the Goa-based line producer Dilip Borkar, who was appointed by KJo’s firm has arranged a press conference on Wednesday where he added that Kangana Ranaut who had initially reacted to the alleged reports, did not know the realities. “No one knows the ground reality. Kangana Ranaut does not know anything about what is happening here. This is wrong. She is spoiling Goa's name,” he said.
“The garbage was disposed of by a local contractor appointed by the village Panchayat every day. Only on Sunday, he failed to do so, after which the photos went viral," added the line-producer.
