PM Modi & HM Amit Shah should apologize before countrymen & people of J&K for damaging three historical documents

The Forum for Peace & Territorial Integrity office bearers, during a press conference held here while endorsing the celebration of Accession Day of J&K. With Union of India on 26th October 2020 expresses great surprise and anglush over eclipsing the main & basic foundation of the basis of accession over which lies with the huge edifice of "Instrument of Accession" of J&K State(including Ladakh).

As per the statement issued by the Forum President Mr. I.O Khajuria & Patron Sheikh Ab. Rehman, Ex-MP, it is a great tragedy with the history of J&K that no one hand, we adore the step of highest regard, taken by the then Monarch of Maharaja Hari Singh in signing the Instrument of Accession with Union of India, but on the other hand, we simply ignore the importance of its basic foundation - the Instrument of Accession, on the basis of which Indian Forces landed in Kashmir & foiled the ill design of our rogue neighbor - Pakistan to occupy our territory. Therefore the statement said we must give prominence to Instrument of Accession alongwith the accession day - the 26th October, every year because it is Instrument of Accession that has convinced the accession day in a legal & constitutional manner.

Earlier Mr. I.D. Khajuria & Sheikh Ab. Rehman Ex-MP said that the relations of J&K State were fully cemented with the Union of India through the Constitution of India (Art. 370 & 35 A) & through constitution of J&K State which directly envisage that J&K State is an integral part of India. Thirdly, the relations which Union of India are written strongly through Instrument of Accession which too has been weakened beyond repairs, they said and addeds that instead of doing good, the ruling dispensation headed by PM Modi & Home Minister have caused more damage, as a result, a sort of uncertainly prevails in whole J&K. In some districts in Jammu Province, District Jammu has around 292 Panchayats, Samba District has only 99 Panchayayts & similar position of irrational number of Panchayats in the Districts exists and under these circumstances, blanket 14 District Dev. Councils in each District is a decision which is total ambiguous & issued without application of mind keeping in view the terrain & geographical conditions, more to this they said that in HP, Uttrakhand & North Eastern State, where no outsider can purchase land even without Domicile & State Subject but here it has been done despite issue of domicile certificates, The Block Development Chairman, in the Block has been rendered toothless with the election of the District Development Council.

More to this that said that all the constitutional institutions be it election Commission, Judiciary, RBI, Press, etc. have been rendered toothless and there is a sort of undeclared emergency in the country. Any person showing dissent with the Govt. line is vehemently dubbed as anti-national & Pro-Pakistani.

Administration has completely failed on the ground to deliver & miseries of people have compounded & developmental works are at standstill, therefore Assembly Elections should be held without loss of time to imbibe faith of people in the governing, mechanism giving priority to democratic Institutions.

Therefore, the release demanded:-

i. All political activists, against whom there are no heinous crimes, need be released to create congenial atmosphere.

ii. Great care need be taken to safeguard civil liberties

iil. Pre-Aug.5, 2019 position must be restored

In view of above, they said that the manner in which provisions of Indian constitution, J&K Constitution & Instrument of Accession has been dealt with, the sentiments of people the state have been badly hurt by bull-dozing, the Home Minister & PM Modi need apologize before the people of state. We strongly demand, they said, that keeping the insult to Indian & state constituency aside, the provisions of Instrument of Accession, be implemented under which only three subjects (1) Defence,
(2 Foreign Affairs & (3) Communication Department have been agreed to be left with Govt. of India and in all other matters J&K State retains autonomous character. Strongly we have been reduced to mere Municipality which need be restored immediately thet said.
