Mehbooba should accept defeat: Shahnawaz

BJP's senior leader and National spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain has said Mehbooba Mufti should accept her defeat in on going District Development Council election rather than staging everyday dramas. Addressing the party workers at Town Hall Chadoora area of Central Kashmir's Budgam district regarding the campaigning for DDC candidate Dr. Aneesa Gul, he urged people to support her and defeat traditional regional parties in the region.

The Senior leader said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected the dynastic politics and it seems Mehbooba Mufti is frustrated to see that people have rejected PDP at the ground level. "Every day she is staging dramas of arrests and detentions and blaming the administration for the same. She should accept her defeat," he said.

He said seeing the actions of Mehbooba Mufti these days, it seems she fears BJP as it has gained acceptance in the valley. "Mehbooba is not accepting her defeat but she knows that people have rejected them," he said.
He said that she knows that people will not accept her as "PDP along with other regional parties have deceived people over the past seventy years in Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
