Located in the heart of New Delhi and close to Delhis commercial hub of Connaught Place, the New Delhi Railway Station is also linked to the Indira Gandhi International Airport through the Airport Express Line metro and also to the rest of Delhi and NCR.

Reportedly, the project to renovate the railway station features the station component, railway offices, railway quarters, the new terminal building along with amenities, commercial office space, hotels, and residential space among others.
