Bigg Boss 10 contestant Swami Om dies at 63 in Delhi

Swami Om, who was known for a very controversial stint on Bigg Boss 10, died on Wednesday, February 3, in Delhi. As per reports, he had been very ill for a while and was undergoing treatment at AIIMS. He had also suffered a paralysis attack a few days ago, post which his health deteriorated drastically until he passed away on Wednesday. Arjun Jain, son of Swami Om's friend Mukesh Jain, confirmed the news. Reportedly, Swami Om had also tested positive for the novel coronavirus earlier and had recovered from it. Arjun told Zee News, "Swami Om was sick for the last few months. Even after recovering the coronavirus, he had a lot of trouble walking due to weakness. After which he also had paralysis in half his body. His condition worsened 15 days ago due to paralysis. He breathed his last this morning." Swami Om's last rites will reportedly be performed today at 1.30 pm at Nigam Bodh Ghat, Delhi.

WHO IS SWAMI OM?

Swami Om came into the limelight following his stint in the 10th season of the controversial reality TV show, Bigg Boss. During one of the tasks on the show, he was seen splashing his pee on fellow contestants Bani J and Rohan Mehra. Following this, both Bani and Rohan, along with the rest of the contestants complained to Bigg Boss against Swami Om. The makers of the show had to send him home after this incident.
