Death mystery in Mathura: Businessman, wife & son found dead at home

The dead body of three members of a family were found under mysterious circumstances in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. The dead bodies were of a businessman, his wife and 11-year-old son. The deceased man was identified as Neeraj Goyal. Goyal and his wife Reema had a son named Anmol. The police suspect that it was a murder-cum-suicide case.

Reportedly, the deceased's house was locked from the inside since the morning and one of the neighbours noticed the same. The man alerted the cops about the house and a team reached the spot. The police broke open the door of the house and found three bodies. Mathura SP (City) MP Singh said that Neeraj was found hanging from the roof and the dead body of his wife and son were found in the bed.

Woman, her son passed away due to consumption of poisonous substance
Prima facie, the woman and the son died due to the consumption of a poisonous substance as they were frothing from their mouths. The case appeared to be that of a murder-cum-suicide. The same, however, has not been proven yet. The police sent the bodies for the autopsy after reaching the spot. Singh said that as per preliminary probe, Neeraj owned a general merchant shop. Neeraj and Reema got married around three years ago but the relationship did not go well. Neeraj's marriage to Reema was his first one but she (Reema) had been married twice in the past. Anmol was Reema's son from her early marriages.
