India reports 11,831 fresh Covid-19 cases, 84 deaths in 24 hours

India's Covid-19 infection tally climbed to 1,08,38,194, with 11,831 fresh cases reported in a day, while 1,05,34,505 people have recuperated so far, pushing the national recovery rate to over 97 per cent, according to Union Health Ministry data on Monday. The death toll climbed to 1,55,080, with the novel coronavirus claiming 84 lives in a span of 24 hours in the country, the data showed. The Covid-19 case fatality rate stood at 1.43 per cent.
