YS Sharmila, the sister of YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is likely to form her own political party and make a foray into Telangana politics prior to the 2023 state Assembly elections. News agency has mentioned informed sources as saying that the daughter of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy (former chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh) will meet with 30-35 close confidants at her residence in Hyderabads Lotus Pond on Tuesday to discuss the matter. "The meeting is being held to discuss the possibility of Sharmila floating a new political party in Telangana, with the support of her father's loyalists in the state," the agency cited sources as saying. The meeting is being called as Aatmeeya Sammelanam (friendly get-together). Notably, the date of the meeting coincides with the 50th wedding anniversary of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Vijayamma, who got married on February 9, 1972, in Pulivendula of Andhra Pradeshs Kadapa district.

About Sharmila Reddy
===================
I am Rajannas daughter, your Jaganannas sister. My name is Sharmila, were the opening words of YS Sharmila Reddy while addressing a crowd in 2012, three days after his brother was sent to jail. Accompanying her mother in north coastal Andhra district of Srikakulam, Sharmila stole the show completely. Sharmila Reddy is married to M Anil Kumar, who is an evangelist. Born to Hindu Brahmin parents, Anil Kumar converted to Christianity after his love marriage to Sharmila in 1995 and founded Anil World Evangelism. He has been an evangelist since 1998. The couple has two children named Raja and Anjali.
