Jammu and Kashmir's parliamentary unit held a meeting here on Sunday to discuss strategies for the upcoming elections at J&K and prepare for a major convention of the party's grassroots cadres in August. “We will be hosting an extended meeting of the Pradesh Parliamentary Commission (PCC) to discuss upcoming elections including local bodies, parliaments and parliamentary polls. Two to three senior leaders from each district will speak at the meeting,” said Vicar Rasool, Chairman of J&K PCC.
He said the Aug. 6 party convention was aimed at preparing party leaders for the upcoming elections. "We will have a tournament on August 6," he said. PTI
