Two groups of workers on Thursday argued over the distribution of work to one group at Jogindernagar in Mandi district.
A video of the event was published on social networks.
According to police, a fight between two workers engaged in marble/tiling in Jogindernagar was reported on August 31 at the Jogindernagar police station.
Mandi SP Soumya Sambasivan said the police team reached the spot acting swiftly.
All the workers involved in the clash are residents of Uttar Pradesh. "Röyhy's reason was payment of money because the other party took the contract/marble work in the house and the party left
the job without completing the following payment matters. The owner gave the work to the other party. After that, a dispute occurred between them," said the SP.
The SP said, "Two men, Deep Chand and Chhote Lal, were injured and receiving treatment. Cases have been registered against four men -- Monu, Satinder, Govind and Rohit. The case has been registered."
