Rajasthan's local government is organizing ambulances to take the bodies of passengers killed in Wednesday's Bharatpur bus accident to their native Gujarat, while 33 others will be taken by bus, an official said.
The 12 dead and 11 injured were from Dihor village of Bhavnagar district.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4,000 to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs 50,000 to each injured.

Bhavnagar Collector RK Mehta said at least 12 Gujarati passengers were killed and 11 injured when a truck rammed their broken down and repaired bus from behind in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district early Wednesday morning. Mehta said the bus was taking pilgrims from Dihor village in Bhavnagar to Mathura (pilgrimage) in UP.
"Their bus broke down early in the morning in Bharatpur area and was being repaired when a truck hit it from behind. The 12 dead include passengers who got off the bus (during repairs) and passengers who were sitting in the bus. 11 others. 33 passengers are safe, " said the collector. Mehta said the local government of Rajasthan had arranged for an ambulance to take the bodies to their homes.
