On the women's reservation bill, Kumar said, “The bill has been passed in the Lok Sabha, but what about its implementation? The Center must act quickly to implement the proposals made on reservations for women. It will be really good if it is implemented as soon as possible."

Kumar also said, "I have always supported women's reservation. Representation must be ensured. Our government has ensured adequate representation of women at every opportunity. The representation of women in Bihar is the highest among all states in the country.
