A Dalit woman was allegedly stripped, beaten, and pissed on by a moneylender and his accomplice in Bihar's Patna district after she complained to police about his "irrational" demand for money even after repaying the debt, police said on Monday.
The main accused Pramod Singh and his son Anshu Singh are absconding, police said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to arrest them.
The injured victim, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital, claimed that he had to endure this torture even though he paid the loan amount with interest.
“My husband borrowed Rs 1,500 from Pramod Singh a few months ago and returned the money with interest, but he kept looking for money. We rejected the claim, she said.

The incident took place in a village under the jurisdiction of Khusrupur police station in Patna on Saturday night.
Pramod Singh allegedly threatened the victim over the phone, saying that if he did not give him more money, he would be shown naked in the village. He complained to the police.
A family member of the victim told reporters, “A police team visited the village on Saturday to investigate a complaint which apparently angered Pramod and his associates. They went to her home around 10 p.m. on Saturday and forcibly took her to Pramod's house.
There, he was allegedly stripped and beaten with fists and sticks.
"Pramod asked his son to urinate on my face. He did. After that I somehow managed to escape and returned home," said the woman's statement to the police.
Speaking to PTI on Monday, Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra said a manhunt has been launched to nab the absconders. "We have formed five police teams and searches are underway. A case has been registered," Mishra said.
