Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas' mother Madhu Chopra revealed why the Indian star could not attend her cousin Parineeti Chopra's wedding with AAP leader Raghav Chadha in Udaipur on Sunday.
A video of Madhu at the airport, where she is seen being asked about Priyanka's absence, has been circulated on social media by various paparazzi and fan pages.
Madhu even revealed that the families of the couple did not accept the gifts. When asked why Priyanka was not at the wedding, Madhu replied, "Woh kam kar rahi hai."
Madhu was then asked about Parineet's wedding, gifts and looks, Madhu replied, “Bahut badhiya… Unhone sab Mana kar diya, no lena-dena, bas ashirwad. Waise hi khubsoorat hai, aur achi lag rahi thi.
Parineeti and Raghav got married in a dream wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan on Sunday.
On Monday, the newlywed bride shared official pictures from the wedding, with Priyanka commenting, “My blessings always.
