Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell has been ruled out of the 4th match of the World Cup against England. in November after falling off a golf cart, resulting in a concussion and facial contusion.
Cricket.com.au reports that Maxwell was driving a golf cart after Monday's round when he fell.
The all-rounder is a key member of the Australian team as he shares spin duties with Adam Zampa, while also playing a vital role in the middle order with the bat. He smashed the fastest hundred in World Cup history - 40 balls against Holland - in Delhi last week.
This is Maxwell's second injury in less than a year. Last November, he broke his leg at a birthday party in Melbourne and is said to still not have fully recovered.
